Samaritana's Livelihood Ventures
Hand made by women in transition from the streets and bars to a new life.

Livelihood products produced by Samaritana's women trainees include cards made of handmade abaca paper, fossilized leaves, capiz and other ethnic materials. Cross stitched designs are also available. The women also accept made-to-order invitation cards with personalized inserts and envelopes for weddings, birthdays and other occasions.
Among the new items are journals, paper lamp shades, conference folders and ornament/scrap booking boxes accented with handmade abaca paper. One-of-a-kind vintage and Philippine ethnic designed fashion accessories made of wood beads, glass beads, shells and stones are among Samaritana's best sellers.
The women are also being trained to hone their housekeeping and house organizing skills, so that they may use their spare time to do part-time household service for Samaritana's friends. Interested individuals or groups may contact Jenny Galvez at 4315771 or 9381617 to order products or to schedule household service needs. Visit also the Terms and Policies page for more information. |
